“I am deeply concerned about the violence between Sudan’s military and paramilitary RSF this weekend that has taken the lives of at least 56 people, including 3 Word Food Program workers, and injured over 500.

MINNEAPOLIS—Today, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI-12), along with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (MN-05) and Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04), re-introduced the End Child Poverty Act, which would replace the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and the child provisions in the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) with a Universal Child Benefit that would provide a payment of $393 per child per month to families.
