Resources for Americans in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank

Our office is actively engaged in assisting constituents and their families who are in Israel and Gaza. While we cannot provide travel advice or help with individual travel arrangements, there are specific situations where our team may be able to help – in particular, for constituents whose U.S. passports have expired or those who are waiting for family visa petitions to be processed.

In international crises, the role of the State Department is to communicate with U.S. citizens and provide information and assistance. It is vital that all U.S. citizens have registered with the State Department and review all updates they provide. Registration with the State Department can be done through the crisis intake form. For those individuals planning to travel to Jordan or Egypt, the Department of State has advised that travelers make use of the U.S. Embassies in those countries to facilitate their journey back home.

If you are a constituent of the Fifth District and need assistance with an issue like this, or have other questions that you need help addressing, please contact our office by emailing MN05.info@mail.house.gov or call (612) 333-1272.

The Department of State is providing consistent updates for American citizens in Israel and Gaza. We are committed to ensuring that you receive the necessary guidance and assistance during this challenging period. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you need any assistance or information. Your safety and well-being are our utmost priorities.
