Community Conversation: Pathway to PEACE

Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Register to attend here.
This spring, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar will hold a discussion on her vision for a progressive foreign policy— one that centers on human rights, justice and peace as the pillars of America’s engagement in the world, and makes military action a last resort. It centers the experiences of the people directly affected by conflict, takes into account the long-term consequences of U.S. militarism, acknowledges the damage done when we fail to live up to international human rights standards and is sincere about our values regardless of short-term political convenience.

Doors open at 11:30am. Event begins at 12:00pm.

Free & open to the public. Advance registration via Eventbrite is required for attendance. Location information will be included in an email you will receive from Eventbrite on Wednesday, February 19. Please note that backpacks, briefcases, and other bags larger than a purse or handbag are not allowed. All bags are subject to search.
Please call (612) 333-1272 with any questions, concerns, or requests for accommodations.

Media interested in attending should contact at least 24 hours prior the event.
