Representative Omar Sworn into Office

U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar was sworn in as a Member of the United States House of Representatives by the House Speaker on January 3rd, 2019.

The Honorable Ilhan Omar was elected to serve as representative of Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District. Representative Ilhan Omar was added to the rolls of the House upon executing the oath of office.
